Around this time of year, being in a relationship seems appealing to the general public. With the help of social media, relationships tend to be glamorized. Connecting with the right person is not an easy task, so many people turn to dating apps. A dating app is an easy option to help one find their match. With the click of a few buttons, you can complete a profile and start communicating with others almost immediately. Although dating apps are a convenient way to increase your chances of finding love, that doesn’t mean there are no concerns. Dating sites can become a place for bothersome behavior and catfishing. There are also concerns that dating apps are taking away from the traditional meeting experiences. That being said, dating apps aren’t entirely harmful. In fact, the Pew Research Center found that six-in-ten online dating users have had more positive experiences on the app, and 71% of people have reported that it was simple to find someone on the platform. Dating apps may not be the best choice for everyone, but it’s beginning to solidify its place in our society, creating a new world for dating.
